SUPERMARKET staff from Leigh's Asda and members of the Chernobyl Children's charity have joined forces to organise a charity bingo evening.
Tonight's event, which will raise funds for children who have been orphaned or disabled by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, begins at 7.30pm at the Twelve Apostles Club in Leigh.
Also at the Leigh store, a painting, donated by artist Garry Graham, is to be raffled to raise money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
The hand-painted picture of Winnie the Pooh and friends is on display in the store. Raffle tickets are on sale now and the winner will be drawn on July 2.
