TWO nine-year-old girls were indecently assaulted and threatened by a man as they walked on a pathway near St Anthony's Place in Blackpool.
The man was sitting in a gold-coloured car with a lion emblem on the front as a group of girls passed by. He then got out and started chasing one of the girls, who he caught and indecently assaulted.
He then made off as she screamed and cried but grabbed another one of the girls as he returned towards his car.
He indecently assaulted her and threatened to kill her if she told anyone. He then ran to his car and drove off as the other girl returned. The incident occured at 9.30pm on May 28. The man is described as white, in the mid to late twenties, slim with dark brown hair and a dark goatee beard. He was wearing a yellow and brown checked shirt, black Reebok trousers and spoke with a local accent.
A CALLOUS thief robbed a 90-year-old man after pretending to be carrying out water checks and forcing entry to his home. The elderly man refused to let the thief into his house on Kilnhouse Lane in St. Annes as he had no ID, but he barged past him and stole his purse. The thief is white, 20 to 30 years old, 5ft 6ins tall, with a very slim build and very short hair. He was wearing a bright three-quarter-length anorak.
A WOMAN'S nose was broken after a violent struggle with thieves on Peter Street in Blackpool. The lady was walking home with her handbag tucked under her arm at 10.50pm, on June 14, when she was attacked by two robbers who then ran off with her bag. The white men were both about 5ft 8ins tall and wore puffa jackets. One was around 25 years old and the other was 16 to 18 years old.
A MAN ran out of a Safeway Garage, on Whitegate Drive in Blackpool, after grabbing some meat. He was driven off in a stolen Montego car, registration number G531XPC, at 1.09pm on June 17. The man is described as white, in his mid-20s, around 6ft tall with dark hair and sideburns. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, blue jeans and brown moccasin-type shoes.
A THIEF managed to trick his way into an 83-year-old woman's home on Grange Road, in Blackpool, after pretending to be a water board official. The man eventually left after the elderly lady's son shouted downstairs for her to check his ID. Saying he would get it from the van, the man then quickly left on foot at 10.45 am on June 16. The white man is in his early twenties with dark, tidy, short hair and was wearing a blue jacket and blue trousers.
TWO young Asian women robbed a lady in Poundstretchers on Albert Road, in Blackpool, at 3.25pm on June 12 . The 20-year-old girls, with plaited hair, reached into the lady's handbag and grabbed her purse before disappearing.
A MAN was robbed of his bag as he sat down at the junction of Lytham Road with Waterloo Road, in Blackpool, at 9.00am on June 14. The thief approached the man and tried to snatch the bag but the man fought back and tried to hold on to it. The man was then hit in the struggle and the thief escaped with the bag, getting into a vehicle whose registration number began with H72. The thief is in his thirties, 6ft tall with a fat build and skinhead haircut. He was wearing paint-splattered trousers.
A MAN stole a silver Peugeot 406HDI saloon from a garage on Preston New Road, in Blackpool, at 9.15am on June 16. The car, registered Y992BCK, was taken from John Barnett Car Sales. The 30-year-old white man was of medium build and wearing a beige tee shirt and smart casual trousers.
A MAN'S mobile phone was stolen as he was using it at 3.30pm on June 16 outside McDonalds on the Promenade, Blackpool. The thief ran up and snatched it before making off in a light-coloured Peugeot. He is described as white, in his late teens, with dyed blond hair.
