IAM from Burnley but now live in London. I am proud of my town and was devastated to hear the recent news about the unrest.
Intolerance all boils down to ignorance. Before I came down to London, I was told that southerners are unfriendly. This is not true if you are friendly to them.
The same applies to people from all backgrounds. What does skin colour or religion matter?
If everyone learns from each other and we focus on the positive rather than the negative, then we can live in a peaceful and diverse society.
