HEAR'SAY shot straight to number one with their second single -- defying critics who claimed interest in the band was waning.
The single, 'The Way To Your Love', knocked Christina Aguilera, Pink and L'il Kym's 'Lady Marmalade' off the top of the charts.
Bury-born Suzanne Shaw said: "It's absolutely brilliant -- we just want to say thanks to all our fans."
Suzanne, along with band mates, Noel Sullivan, Myleene Klass, Danny Foster and Wigan-girl Kym Marsh, met some of her supporters a London's Astoria nightclub on Saturday night.
The group played a gig in front of hundreds of revellers.
Hear'say's first single, 'Pure and Simple' and debut album, 'Popstars', also hit the top spot earlier this year.
