A CARAVAN outside a house in Barclay Avenue, Stoops estate, Burnley, was badly damaged in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters had to spray water on a gas cylinder inside the vehicle to cool it and prevent the risk of an explosion.
Leading firefighter Jeremy Richmond said: "Fortunately it didn't go off and we were able to remove it to a place of safety."
The incident, which happened at 1.20am today is under investigation.
