TWO hundred pairs of glasses have been presented to an international charity for use in Eastern Europe.
The spectacles were handed over to the International Aid Trust by Kate Fragle, manager of the Parker Lane, Burnley, branch of Direkt Optik International.
They will go to needy people in Belarus and the Ukraine.
Andrew Hitchon, of the Chorley-based charity said International Aid Trust was formed ten years ago to help the world's needy. There are now 15 charity shops across Lancashire.
