THERE will be lots of jazz and rhythm over the summer with an excellent line up of musical guests playing in Rawtenstall.
The Rhythm Station, Rawtenstall, is welcoming the best-known and most respected stars of British jazz next Tuesday.
All the music will be performed by specialist jazz teachers, who are back by popular demand following their performance at the Station last year.
The line up includes Tina May, who is an international singer and Mike Walker, guitarist and professor of jazz in Germany
Rhythm Station director Martin Shorack is looking forward to seeing the jazz band perform again.
Martin said: "We have had jazz musicians coming to the Rhythm Station every Tuesday ever since we opened four years ago and they have been really successful, especially over the summer.
"We are looking forward to having the teachers back as they were very popular last time they played."
The night is promised to be packed with surprises and great music, filled with a mixture of standards, arrangements and original tunes.
The event will take place from 8.30pm till 11pm and admission is £6.00 payable on the door. People are advised to arrive early to get a seat.
