FIFTY local voluntary and community sector organisations got together to stage a free fun day in Colne.
The event was held at Pendle Leisure Centre to celebrate the work and diversity of some of the 300-plus voluntary and community groups active in Pendle.
There was a wide range of events with the opportunity for people to learn about just what is on offer and the many exciting interests and hobbies catered for in the area. Entertainment included a samba band and jazz band, a puppet making workshop for children led by Colne Arts Studio Association and a willow weaving workshop with Cherry Chung.
Nelson and Colne College provided lap tops with free internet access.
