A 22-YEAR-old reveller fled after breaking the window of a Whalley takeaway by head-butting it.
Blackburn magistrates heard that Benjamin Carter was chased into a graveyard where he was found hiding in bushes.
Carter, of Culcheth, Warrington, pleaded guilty to causing £100 worth of damage at the Pharaoh Takeaway.
He was given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £55 costs.
Tom Snape, prosecuting, said the shop closed at 2am but at 2.05am there were still people inside waiting for their orders. Carter knocked on the window and asked if he could have some food.
He made a gesture when told the shop was closed and a few moments later head-butted the window.
Carter, who was not represented in court, told police it had been a combination of drink and recklessness.
