TWO Ribble Valley pupils are regional winners in a national poster campaign run by the Health and Safety Executive to highlight farm safety.
Rural schools across the country were asked to design posters illustrating the theme of child safety on farms as part of Child Accident Prevention Trust Week.
Michael Roberts, seven, and Tom Turner, nine, of Brennands Endowed Primary School, Slaidburn, received plaques and book tokens from the HSE's agricultural inspector, Roger Kendrik.
HM Chief Inspector of Agriculture Linda Williams said: "It is essential that children realise that simple games such as hide and seek in the farmyard can result in tragedy, so I am particularly pleased with the response we have had to this competition.
"It has also underlined the importance of safety on the farm to children and will help them recognise the potential dangers."
