DARRENERS heading for sunny Spain can take advantage of free Spanish classes at the town's Access Point.
Sessions have proved so successful that staff are putting on extra classes.
Run in conjunction with Blackburn College and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, which funds the scheme, there is already a similar project being run at the centre on Saturday mornings, which has seen its intake increase from 12 to 15.
Centre worker Donna Topham said: "We have had to put on these extra sessions because of the demand we have had from people wanting to learn the language.
"A wide variety people are on the list, some of whom are learning so they speak Spanish when they go on holiday and some who want to learn because they are moving out there.
Classes will run every Monday for six weeks between 7pm and 9pm.
