A 20-YEAR-OLD motorcyclist has died in hospital, two weeks after he was involved in a road accident.
Graham Johnson, of Duke Street, Astley, died in the Royal Bolton Hospital yesterday morning, nearly a fortnight after he was involved in the accident in Newton Road, Lowton, near Leigh.
Mr Johnson suffered a fractured right leg and left wrist after his Honda 100cc motorbike was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra coupe being driven by Carl Messenger, 28, of Derwent Street, Leigh.
A police spokesman confirmed that Mr Johnson had died in hospital after complications had arisen from his injuries.
