SLEEPY-EYED children from a Leyland junior school made a dash for cash in their pyjamas to raise money for their school.
Dozens of children from St Paul's School, in Croston Road, Farington, turned up early on Monday, July 2, in time for a sponsored run around the playing fields to raise money for their school.
South Ribble mayor, councillor Norman Crossley, started the race on the dot at 8.25am and the youngsters completed the short run around their school field, including school pupil Kim Williams, eight, (pictured) who even brought her bedtime teddy to the event.
After the race the happy youngsters changed into their school uniform for the days work in the classroom.
