A HIGH-powered car stolen from an East Lancashire businessman was used as the getaway vehicle in a supermarket armed robbery.
Steve Woolley, 41, of Pleasington, has been left in terror ever since being dragged out of his metallic green high-powered Volvo, in Appleby Street, Blackburn.
The thieves threatened him with a monkey wrench before stealing the vehicle.
Mr Woolley, a manager of Symology in Blackburn, was reunited with his car today but said he would be selling it because it reminded him too much of what happened.
He said: "I am really glad that I have finally got the car back. There wasn't any damage done apart from a few CDs that have been stolen.
"I am going to sell it because I will be constantly reminded of what happened if I keep it."
Police revealed today the Volvo S40 T4 was used in a robbery at Kwik Save, Edenfield Road, Rochdale.
A spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said: "The day after Steve's car was stolen it was used by five masked men who entered Kwik Save on Tuesday, July 3, at 8.30pm.
"The armed thieves ran into the store and demanded money, they produced a firearm and threatened staff.
"They made off with £8,000 cash from the store and the car was found by a police officer later that night on Denehurst Park."
