TEACHER Gary Constantine is right at the top of the class.
The Atherton man, who was educated at Fred Longworth High in Tyldesley, has been rewarded for his talented tuition by being judged the outstanding young teacher of the year in the national BT sponsored teaching awards.
He is in his second year of teaching at St Peter's CE Primary School, Swinton.
Keen musician Mr Constantine, 24, the oldest son of Ernest and Barbara Constantine, of Ling Drive, Atherton, is pictured after receiving his award at Liverpool Town Hall with proud St Peter's headteacher Mrs R Walker and governor Mrs B Windle.
His delight at winning the award was matched this week by his younger brother Neil, 21, who has graduated with an LLb degree in law from Lancaster University.
