PUPILS from Fred Longworth High School are planning an expedition of a lifetime this month when they head for Namibia.
Eight pupils from years nine, ten and 11 are hoping to travel to south west Africa to help people and children over there, and build and install educational equipment.
But to embark on this life-changing experience, they must each raise £2,500 to cover travel, accommodation and food expenses when they are there.
Already the pupils have washed cars, organised raffles and even taken part in a sponsored leg wax and head shave to raise funds, but they are still short of money.
The eight pupils are now looking for local businesses to sponsor them and make sure that every one of them can take part in this beneficial project.
