PARENTS and their children are finding out how much fun books can be on a course at Tup Bridge Family Centre in Rawtenstall.
Six mums and their children aged three and four are taking part in the Make A Book, Use A Book project run in conjunction with the library service.
Nikki Manley, day care officer, said: "We are involving parents and their children getting them used to using and reading books together.
"The library is coming in and they are having short story sessions involving story sacks and they are all making a book."
Some families are writing short stories while others are compiling nursery rhyme books while the children illustrate them.
