THE HEADMASTER of Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Blackburn, has told parents they would react positively to change during a speech at their Junior prize giving ceremony.
Dr David Hempsall said that major changes were taking place in education at the moment, especially at the Blackburn school, which would have an intake of girls for the first time this year.
He assured parents that they would be consulted about any other changes.
He said: "Provided it is carefully considered, change is as desirable as it is inevitable. Queen Elizabeth's will continue to embrace change to ensure our school remains at the forefront."
