THEY might not get 'Rover the Moon,' but a daredevil East Lancashire foursome are determined to get as close as they can!
Blackburn Rovers media executive Petra Aspin spent months deciding on a way to raise money.
Now Petra, her husband David, her sister Kelly Lamster and Kelly's boyfriend Chris Treanor are to make a spectacular tandem parachute jump.
By plunging from the skies over Lincolnshire with Manchester Parachute School, they hope to raise as much as possible to help kidney sufferers born with a debilitating disease known as Hydronephrosis.
The condition develops when a kidney blockage forms, causing enlargement and a danger of infection.
Blackburn Rovers are sponsoring Petra in her charity leap.
And Darwen companies Stainless Metric Stock and JS Construction have joined with Bromley Insurance of Burnley to sponsor the fearless foursome.
Anyone able to sponsor Petra and the parachute party can contact her on 01254 702392 or 07947 852779.
All donations to the National Kidney Research Fund will be gratefully received.
