THE Halliwell Landau Lancashire Oaks is one of two feature races on the Haydock Park card which is being televised by Channel 4 Racing on Saturday, July 7.
Together with the Tote Old Newton Cup, there is almost £100,000 prize money on offer in the two races.
Saturday is the climax of a three-day meeting at Haydock which also includes the second Ladies' Evening of the season on Friday, July 6.
This will also feature fashion shows with casual, evening and leisure designer wear in the parade ring marquee, plus a number of stalls with ladies' accessories and beauty products on offer.
First race on Thursday, July 5 is due off at 2.10pm, on Friday they are under starter's orders at 6.55pm, last race 9.25pm, and on Saturday the first race is off at 2.35pm.
On Friday and Saturday, entry to the Newton Enclosure is £6, Tattersalls £13, County Enclosure £21, and Premier Enclosure on the top floor of the Centenary Grandstand £35.
Thursday admission prices are £5, £10, £17 and £30 respectively.
Accompanied children under-16 enter free. Senior citizens and students, with appropriate identification, enter Tattersalls and the Newton Enclosure at half-price. On Friday, ladies enter at half-price.
