A CHARITY for people who are both deaf and blind has turned to East Lancashire in its search for volunteers to help give children the holiday of a lifetime.
Every year Sense organises around 25 summer holidays for more than 120 deaf and blind children and adults allowing them to take part in activities such as horse riding, water sports and rambling.
Each holiday is supervised by experienced, skilled holiday leaders but they need extensive volunteer support.
"It is the hard work and patience of these volunteers that really make Sense holidays an experience to remember," said Dana Grimberg, holiday co-ordinator.
