SHAW Hill's Nick Dougherty has been named, as expected, in the Great Britain and Ireland squad to face the Americans in this year's Walker Cup.
The 19-year-old, who is the protege of legend Nick Faldo, is the youngest player in the squad.
The former QEGS pupil is planning to turn professional after the amateur tournament which is played this August at Ocean Forest, Georgia.
The Great Britain and Ireland team are the holders of the trophy but have never won it on American soil.
Veteran Gary Wolstenholme, who is 40, is the oldest member of the squad.
There are three other English players in the 10-strong team, despite England failing to win the Amateur Team Championships in Malmo, Sweden, last week.
