BLACKBURNIAN Paul Denial will be swapping his local baths for a pool in the sun with Airtours Holidays this week, after gaining his Royal Life Saving Society Rescue Test qualification.
Paul was one of 16 Airtours representatives who took park in an intense four day water training course at Ribby Hall, near Lytham.
Paul is now a specialised Waterworld representative for the Heat programme, an activity club for 11-15-year-olds on holiday with Airtours.
Paul, who has a GNVQ in leisure and tourism and spent a summer working for Camp America, said: "This course was challenging and exhausting but brilliant fun -- although I have got lots of wrinkles from spending so much time in the sun.
"I am looking forward to putting into practice all the skills I have learnt on the course and ensuring Heat members have a really fun, safe time in the water.
"When you are on holiday, there is nothing better than having fun in the pool and with my new skills and ideas, I want to make sure they have a really fun time."
