GENEROUS celebrities helped ensure that a school summer fair raised more than £2,000.
The event at St Edward's Primary School in Darwen featured a celebrity auction and raffle.
Donated items included Daniel O'Donnel's waist coat, Eamon Holmes's umbrella and signed photographs from Dennis Taylor and Tony Blair. Local firms also supported the fair.
Nursery nurse Winifred Douglas, who helped organise the event, said: "We are grateful for all the support from celebrities, business and parents. Eamon Holmes has been sending us something for the auction for 10 years now."
