A SUMMER Reading Challenge has again been launched by South Lancashire Libraries.
Chorley children are being urged to go to their libraries and ask for a special Reading Carnival collection wallet to take part.
For every book they read they will get an illustrated card to put in the wallet.
Youngsters will need to collect a set of six before the challenge ends on September 8. They will then get a Reading Carnival medal and a special certificate.
Children of all ages can take part. Last year 1,600 did so, with 900 receiving medals and certificates.
Further details are available by phoning 01257 277222 for details, or personally visiting libraries in Chorley, Adlington, Clayton Green, Eaves Lane, Eccleston, Euxton, Croston, or Gregson Lane.
