DOES anyone monitor the use of bins outside business premises?
I live near a particular business and we share the same backstreet. Its bins are constantly so full that the lids do not close properly.
Apart from the unsightliness of these overfull bins, I feel that there must be a health hazard.
Recently, I noticed that a yellow bin which is used for clinical waste (i.e. infected material) was not even locked as it is supposed to be.
I have been in contact with environmental health department on several occasions and also my local councillor but the practice continues as nothing seems to have been done about my complaints.
The people who are responsible for the disposal of this rubbish are obviously unaware of their unsafe practices.
