A TEAM of Cub Scouts have proved they know their stuff when it comes to fire-lighting, tracking, camping and map reading at a prestigious competition.
Youngsters from the Darwen-based Highfield Cub Scout group were among seven teams from the regional who won through heats to compete for the Colonel Sir David Trippier Cup in Moreton, Wirral.
They were tested on a wide range of Scouting skills.
The winning team was made up of Ben Jones, Steven Day, Mark Bury, Sam Halliwell, Thomas Ledger and Daniel Horsfield.
Reserves were Anton O'Riley and Regan Atkinson.
