A WOMAN from Haydock is appealing to local people to help her track her tortoise. Samantha, who is at least 40 years old, went missing from her home in Loweswater Crescent, Haydock last weekend.
And owner Edith Prescott is desperate to track her down. She said: "Samantha is distinctive because her shell is distorted on the back left-hand side.
If you have any information about Samantha, who is about 15cm long, phone Edith on 0777 317 2007.
