THE corridors of Bury Football Club will be a hive of activity on Sunday July 29.

That's when the club is set to open its doors in full for supporters of all ages to visit the ground and see for themselves just what facilities they can offer.

Chairman Terry Robinson wants the open day to act as a thank you to people throughout the town who have helped keep the club functioning by contributing to the Save Our Shakers Appeal.

All management, players and backroom staff will be present for the day, which will also feature a visit from the Lancashire Fusiliers recruitment team.

They will be bringing at least two Warrior tanks, a paint ball range while it is also hoped the Royal Navy will also be in attendance with their own recruitment staff.

The entire first team, reserves and youth team will be on hand to meet supporters and sign autographs.

The Social Club will be open throughout the day for refreshments.

Ground staff will be working on the pitch throughout while the physios will be treating players and fans can witness first hand the rehabilitation that goes into bringing a player back from injury. A visit to the dressing rooms will also be included.

The Bury FC community coaches will be in action on the five-a-side pitches at while Bury College of Further Education will have their own stand on the car park.

The Bury FC Supporters Association have booked a stand to take on new members while Peter Young's commercial staff will be there to talk about sponsorship opportunities. Starkies restaurant will also be open for a full tour.

Finally, the newly-opened Internet office will be open and web site manager Gordon Sorfleet will take fans on a guided tour of the new official web site

The ground will be open from 12 noon to 4pm.
