THE new £7 million mental health unit at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn, will be open to the general public on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July, between 2 and 5pm.
The open day is an opportunity for people to see the new facilities, which replaced the old Victorian unit, before they are brought into use.
The day care units, wards and outpatient department are decorated with paintings by students from the Manchester Metropolitan University.
Chief Executive of the unit John Thomas, said: "We are delighted to provide this opportunity to the public to come and view this excellent new building. Anyone wishing to view this new facility is welcome to come along."
