A CABBIE was robbed of his taxi by a knife-wielding passenger.
The theft happened at 10.45pm in Ribble Drive, Whitefield, on Thursday (July 5).
The cabbie, who works for Blueline Taxis, picked up the fare in the Thatch Leach Lane area and was told to go to another address in Whitefield.
The driver was asked to stop in Ribble Drive where the passenger pulled a knife on him and ordered him from the blue coloured Vauxhall Cavalier.
The thief then jumped into the driver's seat and sped off.
The thief was a white, 5ft 10ins and wore a red baseball cap and green jacket.
