TWO men have been charged after a home-made bomb was discovered in a house in Nelson.
Police recovered a number of items at an address in the Every Street area, in the early hours of Tuesday, including what they have described as "a home-made improvised explosive device."
Philip Benson, 39 of Every Street, and John Baker, 58, from the Morecambe area, have been charged with conspiracy to cause explosions. They were due to appear at Burnley magistrates today.
A police spokesman said: "At this stage there is no indication of any racist motive."
