THE Nelson pensioner who collapsed after confronting a group of youths was in general good health before she died, her daughter told East Lancashire coroner David Smith.
Sheila Bridge, 62, died of a heart attack on June 27 at her home in Lansbury Place, which she shared with her husband Fred.
Her daughter Patricia Taylor, of Colne, said at the opening of the inquest that Mrs Bridge had been seeing a doctor for high blood pressure but had no other health complaints. She said she had spent the day with her mother the day before she died and she had been her normal self.
The inquest was adjourned for the results of a second post mortem examination.
She was found dead in her bathroom just eleven minutes after calling police to report youngsters causing a disturbance at her house.
Four boys and two girls from Burnley and Pendle, aged between ten and 15, were remanded in custody after appearing at Reedley Youth Court on manslaughter charges.
The case was adjourned until Monday for the post mortem examination report and a full prosecution review.
