A BRIEF encounter in the town library has set a Poulton woman on a search for the lady she says could be the friend she was always meant to meet.
Leonie Taylor of Poulton Road, Carleton, was in Poulton Library on Blackpool Old Road with her daughter, Ann, one Tuesday afternoon last month when she met a woman who approached them by talking to Mrs Taylor's daughter, who has Down's Syndrome.
Mrs Taylor said that they had sparked up a conversation during which the woman had told her she was very lonely. All the information Mrs Taylor had was that the lady was called Ann. She described her as being aged between 60 and 70 with grey hair. She would like the mystery lady to get in touch with her on 882001.
