TEN-YEAR-OLD Richard Handley cycled 64 miles and raised £303 on his first charity bike ride.
Richard, a Lowton West County Primary School pupil, rode the Manchester-to-Blackpool route with his dad, Tony.
Their seven-hour ride began at Manchester's Albert Square and finished at Stanley Park in Blackpool.
The father and son team, of Lime Grove in Lowton, were among 5,000 participants and raised the funds for the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. TEAM EFFORT: Father and son Richard and Tony Handley
