TEACHER Gary Constantine has made a brilliant start to his chosen career.
Mr Constantine, 24, was named Outstanding Young Teacher in the BT backed Guardian teaching awards presentation at Liverpool Town Hall.
Now in his second year of teaching, the former Tyldesley Fred Longworth High student, who lives in Atherton, is pictured with his trophy.
On either side are Mrs R Walker, head of Swinton St Peter's, where is is a staff member, and governor Mrs B Windle.
Keen musician Mr Constantine studied at Lancaster University where his younger brother, Neil, 21, has gained an LLb degree in law.
Their parents, Ernest and Barbara Constantine, live in Ling Drive, Atherton.
