RECORD-breaking full-back Neil Turley is in line for two prizes at the end-of-season Northern Ford Premiership awards.
The 21-year-old Leigh star, who smashed the club record of 49 tries set by Steve Halliwell in 1996, is nominated for young player of the year and player of the year.
Turley's coach at Leigh, Paul Terzis, has been nominated for the NFP coach of the year award. The winners will be announced at a celebration dinner at the Auto Quest Stadium, Widnes, on Tuesday, July 24.
The NFP nominations are: Young player of the year - Phil Farrell (Oldham), Mick Nanyn (Swinton), Neil Turley (Leigh). Coach of the year - Mike Ford (Oldham), Martin Hall (Rochdale), Paul Terzis (Leigh). Referee of the year - Colin Morris, Richard Silverwood, Peter Taberner. Player of the year - Phil Cantillon (Widnes), Danny Sculthorpe (Rochdale), Neil Turley (Leigh).
Leigh's Academy side play a re-schuduled home game against Oldham at Hilton Park tonight, kick off 7.30pm.
