A PUB is trying to tap into the area's African community with a special theme night in their honour.
The Lomax Arms, on Blackburn Road, Great Harwood, has renamed this Saturday 'African Day'.
Percussion group Drum Dance will provide a sample of the country's traditional music, while cooks will make its traditional food.
Landlady Janice Booth said: "I know there are a lot of African people in the area. We want them to come forward so we can give them a little taste of home."
The event on Saturday starts at 2pm, and will continue until last orders.
Non-Africans are also welcome.
