THE Albion, in Clayton-le-Moors, hosts its fourth annual beer festival this week, tantalising the tastebuds with 35 varieties of real ale.
The Mayor of Blackburn, Coun John Williams, opens the event on Thursday when there will be a quiz. On Friday the sounds of a brass band will accompany the beer sampling..
The event closes on Saturday with local band Maupa playing a set of original music.
Landlord John Burke has had to convert a downstairs room that used to be a stables into an area to store the kegs.
Each night the events start at around 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
