BLACKBURN ROVERS have announced reduced ticket prices, and money-saving offers for the mouth-watering visit of Spanish giants Barcelona to Ewood Park on Sunday August 12 (kick off 3 pm).
Tickets will go on open sale from Wednesday July 25, at £15.00 for adults and £5.00 for senior citizens, juniors and young adult season ticket holders producing Voucher A (completed on the reverse).
And an adult purchasing a £5.00 junior ticket can claim a free junior ticket -- an offer that is only available for tickets purchased prior to matchday.
The prices will apply to all areas of the stadium.
Tickets can be purchased in the Jack Walker, Blackburn End and Riverside stands. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Season ticket holders' seats cannot be reserved in line with the normal policy for pre-season matches.
Initially, tickets for the Darwen End will not be sold in advance.
It is planned for admission to unreserved seating in the Darwen End Upper and Lower to be by cash payment at the turnstiles on the day of the match.
FC Barcelona have promised to send a full-strength squad for this most attractive of friendlies.
World stars such as Brazilian ace Rivaldo, Patrick Kluivert, Frank de Boer, Luis Enrique and Josep Guardiola are expected to grace the Ewood turf.
Rovers' own Mark Hughes, once of Barcelona himself, is looking forward to the clash more than most.
"I have played for them and against them in some very memorable matches," said Hughes. "Barcelona still holds a special place in my heart."
The match promises to be a wonderful curtain-raiser ahead of Rovers' return to the top flight, providing a real test of the squad's preparations for the challenges to come.
Rovers' secretary Tom Finn advised: "We anticipate a large crowd for this match. We strongly recommend tickets are purchased in advance."
Rovers ticket hotline number is 01254 671666 or you can find further information on the official Rovers' website.
