A WOMAN accused of murdering her husband has made a brief appearance at Preston Crown Court.
Mother-of-five Dawn Bracewell, 36, had her case adjourned for plea and directions on September 18.
No charge was put to her during the preliminary hearing.
At an earlier magistrates hearing she was charged with murdering her husband Gary on or about June 18.
He died in Burnley General Hospital after being found with stab wounds at a house in Brown Street East, Colne.
The judge, Mr Justice Penry-Davey, extended her bail which includes conditions that she reside at an address at York House, Preston and does not return to Colne.
