A NOTORIOUS Darwen burglar who escaped from prison remained on the run today despite a positive sighting of him by police.
Detectives were today continuing their search for Lee Holden, 24, of Vernon Street, Darwen, who has now been missing for 13 days.
Police received a positive sighting of the runaway, who already has 12 convictions for burglary, last Wednesday July 11, when he was spotted walking in Atlas Road near Olive Lane.
He absconded from Sudbury Prison, near Ashbourne, in Derbyshire when was reported missing at the 12.45pm role check on Tuesday, July 3.
