A TEENAGE thug, believed to be aged 14, stole a pensioner's handbag as she walked along a Whitefield road.
The attack happened in broad daylight when he approached the 77-year-old woman from behind in Holly Fold.
The thief, described as slim, grabbed the bag containing around £5, and ran off.
Anyone with information about the incident, at 3.45pm on Thursday (July 12), is asked to ring police on 856 8157.
