BUILDING society staff in Bury came up with the answer when quizzed about which community groups should benefit from a cash windfall.
Staff at the Yorkshire Building Society on The Rock nominated the Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People for a grant awarded by their firm to deserving causes.
The charity's Bolton Street centre offers information and advice to visitors, as well as library services and social activities.
Not only were staff successful in their bid, they also held a music quiz to raise extra money.
A cheque for £1,243 was presented to the charity by branch manager Clare Ashworth, who said: "We're delighted that we have been able to support this charity.
"The help and care they provide is important to our local community and the welfare of those who need them."
