ON Sunday, July 8, at 4.30am, a man was waiting for a taxi in Preston town centre when another man, driving a silver Ford Mondeo, stopped and offered to take him home for the same price as the cost of a taxi.
When in Mendip Road, Leyland, the driver stopped to let the man out and started to kiss him on the neck and indecently assaulted him.
The man is Asian, aged 25 to 30-years, 5ft 10ins, short, cropped black hair and wearing beige jeans. He spoke with a strong Yorkshire accent.
A thief used distraction tactics to steal a Seventies PNE shirt from the souvenir shop at the National Football Museum, Sir Tom Finney Way, Preston, on Friday July 6 at 10.30am.
He was white, in his early twenties, around 5ft 9ins tall with dark hair and wearing a yellow top, dark trousers and carrying a red drawstring bag.
A 13-year-old newspaper boy was riding his bike in Hoyles Lane, Cottam, on Friday, July 6, at 4.35pm, when three thieves attacked him, punching him in the face and stole his Concept Harlem 2K-mountain bike.
All the thieves were white, aged around 16-years and 6ft tall and one was riding a mountain bike. The second had cropped, brown hair. The third was wearing a navy blue and grey Reebok top with central logo and blue baseball cap.
At 11.20pm on Friday July 6 a 17-year-old was walking with her friend on Deepdale Road, Preston, by the County Arms pub when she was punched and kicked by two teenage girls.
Both women were white and aged 19-years. The first was 5ft 7ins, of large build with bleached blonde long hair and wearing an Ellesse top, navy blue tracksuit bottoms and white Reebok training shoes.
Her accomplice was 5ft 6ins, thin build, brown straight hair to shoulders and wearing tight black trousers, strapped red top with logo on the front with black Rockport shoes.
At 3.28am on Monday, July 9, two thieves used bolt cutters to break into the compound of Clan Cleaning Systems, Chorley Road, in Walton-le-Dale, and stole an Ifor Williams aluminium P6E series trailer. The vehicle was towed away by a large light-coloured saloon.
