ACTING enthusiasts, from Walton Le Dale High School, in Brindle Road, have gone on tour, performing to children at their old primary schools.
The play, Awful Billy Smith, is a comedy about a really naughty boy who makes his teacher's life a misery while she does all sorts to try and cope with these problems.
Drama teacher at Walton Le Dale, Mrs Joy Elliot recently formed this drama club for years seven, eight, nine and ten. The group, who had enjoyed working on the piece decided to take it round all their old primary schools as well as other schools in the area.
Mrs Elliot, said: "They have worked really hard to perfect this play and the children in the area will really enjoy it -- I really admire their enthusiasm.
"We have already performed one play at St Aidens in Bamber Bridge and the children their loved it."
