Wigan Council's road safety unit will be moving throughout the borough to teach skills to the over tens.
Road safety officer Darren Barton said: "Roads can be dangerous places for cyclists, especially during the rush hour, and educating children about how to cope with the hazards can save lives."
Classes will be available at Shakerley on July 30 and August 1 between 1.30-3.30pm, Bedford on August 15 9.45-11.30am and August 16-17 1.30-3.30pm and Leigh on August 29 from 11am-2.30pm with Leigh police. To reserve a place, call 01942 828396 or e-mail road.safety@wiganmbc.gov.uk
