THE administrators brought in to run Blackburn refrigeration and air conditioning company Clive Hurley & Co have outlined plans to sell the business as a going concern.
About half the workforce at the Bolton Road business was made redundant earlier this week by administrators Downham Train Epstein.
Clive Hurley is the trading name of Dynam Engineering Services Ltd., which went into voluntary administration earlier this month.
It is understood that 11 people have been made redundant.
Andrew Bayley, of Downham Train Epstein, said a number of discussions had already taken place with prospective purchasers.
"The Administrators are continuing to trade the business with a view to achieving a going concern sale," he said in a statement.
"A number of interested parties have already been identified."
Mr Bayley confirmed there had been redundancies, but was unable to specify the exact number.
He said the job losses had followed a rationalisation of the business, which had led to some operations being scaled back.
He added: "It is hoped, however, that if a sale can be achieved, no further job losses will occur.
"We hope to draw the matter to a conclusion sooner rather than later."
