Thanks to another wonderful all-round display from professional Shaun Young Bacup secure a victory against Todmorden.

The Aussie paid man hit a fine 77 and took five wickets to beat their championship rivals.

Batting first, opener Peter Thompson (51) and Young guided Bacup to a modest 165 total.

But Young and Dave Ormerod shared the bowling duties to contain Todmorden who finished on 137-7.

Chasing 170 to win, the pair put on 70 for the second wicket before Hope went for 56 with the score on 99, having hit three fours and a six.

Bleazard then found a willing ally in substitute professional, South African Mike Rindell, and the pair added the 71 still required as Bleazard finished unbeaten on 71 with seven boundaries.

Earlier, Nelson professional Wade Wingfield was denied a century by a catch on the boundary after he had made 95 with a six and six fours to become one of Jez Hope's five victims.

Whitehead, who scored eight fours and one six on the way to his 68.

Whitehead and professional Dale Benkenstein put on 51 for the second wicket

and Steven Whittaker and Andy McCleod contributed 52 for the fourth. McCleod's 51 off 83 balls included five boundaries.

Colne failed to get into the game with Benkenstein ripping through the first four wickets. Professional Marcus North went cheaply for 25 and the

visitors suffered a collapse.

James Bryant just missed out on a century for Church against Enfield.

The South African professional batted aggressively but was caught by

Enfield's Hartley at the boundary when he was on 91.

David Bury and Nick Westwell made a telling contribution at the other end

of the order, scoring 50 runs in the last five overs to take their side to

more than 200.

Enfield started batting well with professional Martin Van Jaarsveld enjoying good support from his team mates until he was bowled by Phillip Gilrane on 64.

The visitors then suffered a collapse and failed by 44 runs to reach their
