PEOPLE in Pendle will be able to take a peek behind doors which are usually closed this weekend when ten gardens open to the public for charity.
The Open Gardens event has been organised by members of Hospice Care for Burnley and Pendle, who hope to build on the success of last year's event, at which more than £1,000 was raised.
Programmes, priced £2, provide a map of the participating gardens and are available from Fence Library.
Members of the public will be welcomed into the private gardens between 2 and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone wanting more details about the event should contact Judith David on 01282 693339, Margaret Street on 01282 616172 or Shirley Ellis on 01282 693160 or 617934.
